SWIM
The
race will start with the swimming section from the beach "dei
Frati".
The
racing waterfield is marked in open sea. From the starting point
you have to swim toward the first buoy round 300 m. far from the
seaside. After leaving the first buoy on your right, swim west keeping
your body parallel to the coast till the second buoy set 800 m.
far from the first one. After leaving this second buoy on your right
swim in direction of the beach, pointing toward the third buoy where
you need to turn, just in front of the coast line.
BIKE
After the swimming section, you have to take your bicycle from
the changing zone where the bicycling section will start. From Recco,
after 2 slopeless kms, the course goes toward Uscio on a sloped
road of 10 kms till "colle Caprile". From the top a descending
road begins. After that, the course continues with a 5 kms slopeless
road: unfortunately this road is a little bit dangerous because
of the not so good conditions of the road. Then, a new sloped road
begins and you will reach a refreshment point (borracciamento) after
3 kms. From there, you have to ride till the hill of "Colle
Caprile" where begins the final descending road to Recco.
We recommend maximum attention not only along the downhill, but
also entering the changing zone through the town of Recco.
The course is not closed to traffic; therefore we strongly recommend
the respect of the road rules.
People
of the organization staff will be at every crossroad; the course
is signaled by arrows on the road and panels; signs are set every
10 kms; there will a party of motorcycles and medical personnel.
It also available on the course an ambulance with reanimation devices
and doctors.

RUN
The
running section is on a circuit of 9.5 kms and will take place up
to Megli (2 kms hill) and down to Recco through the promenade of
Mulinetti. There are 3 refreshment points. Kilometers will be marked
on the road every two.
The
bike race is not closed to normal car traffic so the stadal roles
shall be respected.
